Q. Why should I consider Golden Iris Mobile Disco for my event.

A. We are good at it! We have been providing our disco for about 18 years, and enjoy doing it. We have professional equipment and Public Liability Insurance. We will do what we can to make your event a success. As long as we continue to receive appreciation for our efforts, we'll keep going! Please look at our recommendations page.

Q. Do you advertise?

A. No, but we are listed on some internet sites including SEDA as we are a member, some Agents and Venues refer work, but most bookings come from enquiries following an event.

Q. Does Golden Iris have good equipment.

A. Yes we look after our equipment, we have professional mixers, amplifiers, speakers, and lights (see our equipment pages). All equipment is regularly safety tested.

Q. We expect 300 people, can Golden Iris handle it?

A. Yes, A good guide to power requirements is: for up to 50 people about 4watt/person is needed so 200watt, our small system at 400 watts is normally used. Over 50 about 7watt/person is required so for 300, 2100 watts is needed. This we can provide. For an even larger event, we can easily source the required equipment, and we also have a large choice of lighting effects to best suit your occasion.

Q. We also want live music.

Q. What happens if Golden Iris can't make it?

A. If we accept a booking then as far as we're concerned we will be there! It has never happened. We have even got to a disco with a broken oil-pump, and done a complete function with a broken elbow!). However in the event of a catastrophic problem, as we are a member of SEDA we would ask one of our fellow members to provide the disco. Your event will be a success.

Q. Our event is 'Black Tie'.

A. We are normally smartly dressed in 'Golden Iris' polo shirts, but will dress as required. We are non-smoking.
